Set up Invoist with Microsoft Copilot

    In Copilot Studio, open your agent and choose Tools, then Add a tool, then Model Context Protocol.

    Enter Invoist's address as the server URL: https://api.invoi.st/mcp

    For authentication, choose OAuth 2.0. Copilot Studio then opens Invoist for you to approve it.

How the connection works

Good to know

Prefer a shared key?
Instead of signing in, create an API key in Invoist under Integrations, then API, and choose API key in Copilot Studio. Send it as a bearer token in the Authorization header.
What about the Copilot app?
The Microsoft Copilot app for individuals doesn't let you add outside tools like Invoist yet. This works through Copilot Studio.
Who can ask
Anyone who can use the agent can ask about the invoices it can reach, so share the agent only with people who should see your invoices.
What it can change
Only one thing, and only if you allow it: marking an invoice Invoist held for a second look, such as one with new bank details, as checked.
Disconnect at any time
Remove Invoist from the agent's tools. If you used a key, delete it in Invoist under Integrations, then API.
